Renting a scooter in Jomtien

Jomtien is a long coastal district rather than one compact pickup point. A listing that says “Jomtien” may mean a staffed counter on Jomtien Second Road, a Na Jomtien branch, or delivery to a condo or hotel. Confirm which one applies, because collection, return and delivery charges can differ.

No road layout makes an inexperienced rider ready for Pattaya traffic. If you do not already ride confidently with the required motorcycle documents, use a taxi, baht bus or another local transport option. If you rent, inspect the actual approach to your accommodation, legal parking and return route before committing to a longer term.

Pickup offices and delivery are different

The Best Motors record checked 7 September 2026 identifies the Jomtien Second Road main office. Its FAQ says Pattaya delivery can be arranged for an extra fee without publishing the amount. Ask which branch, vehicle and delivery charge your quote uses; the separate Na Jomtien branch is not an interchangeable pickup point.

The Andrei record checked 8 September 2026 identifies its Pratumnak office. Its FAQ advertises Jomtien delivery at ฿250. That is a published service example from a provider based elsewhere; confirm the exact address, collection fee and dates. Neither record establishes live vehicle availability or a firsthand rental review.

Choose between a counter and delivery on evidence

A Jomtien-branded offer can describe different handover arrangements. For a counter collection, save the branch address, operating window and return desk. For hotel or condominium delivery, record the permitted meeting place, distance-based charge if any, arrival window, late-arrival process and collector’s identity. For Na Jomtien, verify the specific branch rather than treating it as interchangeable with Jomtien Second Road.

Use the same inspection standard whichever option you select. The contract should identify the delivered or collected unit, while your timestamped record should show its condition before movement. Convenience is a separate comparison field; it does not replace identity, licence, insurance, payment or return evidence.

Earlier Jomtien price examples

In the historical source check of 23 August 2026, Andrei’s Jomtien page published these one-day and one-month model examples: Honda Click 125 Keyless at 350 baht/day or 3,500 baht/month; Honda PCX 160 Keyless at 550 baht/day or 5,500 baht/month; and Honda ADV 160 Keyless at 600 baht/day or 6,000 baht/month. It also published delivery charges by distance on that page.

These older figures have not been rechecked as part of this update. The September Andrei provider record uses a different model and price basis, so do not substitute one example for another. Neither record is a Jomtien average or a live quote. Model, season, availability, delivery and contract conditions can change the total. Ask for one message that identifies the exact bike, dates, rental total, delivery, deposit, included equipment, mileage if any and return arrangement. Licence, insurance and accommodation checks

Confirm a motorcycle-valid Thai, relevant ASEAN or qualifying foreign-licence-plus-recognised-IDP route for the exact bike. An IDP cannot add a missing motorcycle category. Ask the operator what insurance is included, who is authorised to ride, the excess and exclusions, and what happens after an incident. Verify current requirements with official Thai and insurer sources.

Ask the hotel or condo where a rental bike may enter, park and hand over keys. Security staff accepting a delivery is not proof that overnight parking is permitted. Keep the operator’s return contact and the written after-hours process accessible throughout the rental.
