Start with the trip, then choose the vehicle.
A provider name and a daily rate leave a lot unanswered. Work through the vehicle, the money and the handover before committing.
Match the vehicle to your plans
Write down who is travelling, the luggage you need to carry and where you intend to go. For a scooter, check your riding entitlement and try the actual bike for fit. For a car, confirm passenger and luggage space, any child seat and the named-driver requirements.

Compare the whole agreement
Get the fee for your exact pickup and return times. Add required delivery, chosen extras and any payment fee. Record the refundable deposit or card hold separately, then read the damage, theft and insurance terms.

Leave room for a proper handover
Agree the pickup pin, contact person and return arrangements. Inspect the vehicle, record existing marks and obtain the written condition record before departure. Keep the original photos, contract and receipt together until the security has been settled.

Rental cost and pickup money are different.
A hypothetical seven-day agreement has ฿2,100 rent, ฿300 required fees and ฿100 chosen extras. The rental cost is ฿2,500.
If ฿500 of that cost has already been paid, ฿2,000 remains. A separate ฿3,000 cash deposit makes the money still needed at pickup ฿5,000. That deposit is security subject to the return terms; it is not an extra ฿3,000 of rent.
