Verify a lead before travelling to the branch

Request a dated quote for the exact rental period and vehicle or class. It should name the complete rental total, security amount and purpose, payment recipient, cancellation rule, return date and time, mileage or territory limits, included equipment and any stated coverage. If the reply says only “available” or gives a headline rate, the unknown fields remain unknown. Ask for them rather than filling gaps with another listing's terms.
Availability is not condition. At handover, match the offered model, plate or fleet number to the contract; inspect tyres, brakes, lights, controls and supplied helmets; and record existing marks. If the vehicle, price or branch differs from the confirmed quote, treat it as a revised offer and accept or decline only after the written record is corrected.
Hotel referrals and walk-in counters
If a hotel or guesthouse names a shop, ask whether the accommodation receives payment, signs the contract, supplies the vehicle or only passes on contact details. Before you choose, align the same four questions at each counter: daily or weekly rate, deposit amount and return terms, whether the physical passport stays with you, and what the contract says about damage and territorial limits. Identical headline rates with different deposit rules are not equal deals. Work through the pickup checklist before you pay; photograph the bike and note existing damage on the contract.
